Setting Up Your miingl Workshop or Event Space

This article explains how to set up a workshop or event space on miingl, from creating the event to inviting participants and tracking attendance.

  • Create a new workshop or event on miingl

  • Configure privacy and guest requirements

  • Schedule an event or start one instantly

  • Customize your event page and link

  • Invite participants 



Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log In to miingl

  1. Click Sign In



  2. Fill in Your Email and Password 

  3. Complete the reCAPTCHA 

  4. Click Sign-In to access your account






2. Create a New Event

  1. Click Create miingl



  2. Select Create Event from the dropdown menu



This opens the event setup workflow.



3. Upload an Event Image

  • Upload an image that represents your workshop or event



  • This image will appear on the event page, in invitations, and for public events on the Event Forum

  • Best format 3:1 Aspect Ratio (1800 x 600 px) with 21% Crop Zone on the left and right


     



4. Set Event Privacy

Choose whether your event will be:

  • Public – discoverable on the public forums and shareable

  • Private – accessible only to invited participants or those with a direct link, after requesting and receiving access from the host

If you’re unsure which option to select, refer to the Knowledge Base article on public vs. private events.



5. Configure Guest Requirements

  • Choose whether guests must enter an email address to participate

This setting helps control access and enables follow-up communication.



6. Enter Event Details

  • Add a title for your event

  • Choose whether the event:

    • Starts immediately, or

    • Is scheduled for a future date



7. Set Date, Time, and Time Zone

If scheduling your event:

  1. Select the event date

  2. Set the start time

  3. Confirm the correct time zone



8. Write an Event Description

Use the description field to provide details about your event. You can:


You can create a custom miingl link for your event:

  1. Click the edit icon next to the custom link option

  2. Search for an available link

  3. Verify and save it

  4. Select the saved link from the link name list 





10. Set Up Ticketing (Optional)

If your event requires tickets:

  • Enable ticketing during setup

  • Follow the prompts to configure pricing and access



11. Create the Event

When all details are complete:

  • Click Create Event



Your workshop or event space is now live.



12. Invite Participants

You can invite participants by:

  • Uploading a CSV file with names and email addresses

  • Invites require a name and either an email or a mobile number



  • Complete reCAPTCHA

  • Click Invite Participants

  • Sharing the event link directly





13. Access the Event Details Page

  1. Go to My Events



  2. Select your event



  3. Share the event details page with participants or collaborators




14. Monitor and Manage Attendance on Events Detail Page 

  • Participants can indicate interest before the event from the details page

  • Host and Co-Hosts can see atteendees list

  • Host and Co-Hosts can invite attendees and make an attendee a co-host 

  • After the event, you can view who attended

This helps you track engagement and follow up as needed.
